Application | 3,5-Dimethylpyrazole is used as a sealant for polyurethane and isocyanates. It serves as a nitrification inhibitor and nitrogen fertilizer efficiency enhancer in the fertilizer industry. This compound is a heterocyclic organic compound that can be used as a pharmaceutical intermediate. 3,5-Dimethylpyrazole mainly functions as a blocking agent to block isocyanate groups, forming stable chemical bonds with isocyanate groups at room temperature, and can undergo deblocking under heating conditions (typically 110-180℃) to release active isocyanate groups. Main advantages: The blocked product has good stability at room temperature, facilitating storage and transportation; moderate deblocking temperature with a wide processing window; 3,5-dimethylpyrazole can be recovered and recycled after deblocking. Typical applications: Production of one-component polyurethane coatings; preparation of blocked isocyanates for powder coatings; preparation of thermosetting polyurethane adhesives. |
