Disperse Violet 28 (CAS 81-42-5, C.I. 61102) plays a dual industrial role: it is both a finished anthraquinone violet disperse dye for polyester and acetate substrates, and the principal upstream intermediate for the synthesis of C.I. Disperse Blue 60 and C.I. Disperse Violet 26. Nexal Inc. supplies it from U.S. inventory to dye houses, textile mills, and pigment formulators across North and South America.

• Dye Intermediate for Downstream Anthraquinone Synthesis

Principal upstream raw material in the manufacture of high-value anthraquinone dyestuffs. The 1,4-diamino-2,3-dichloro substitution pattern is the chemical backbone for two of the most widely used violet and turquoise-blue disperse dyes in the global textile industry.

• High-Temperature Polyester (PET) Dyeing
