• Plasticizer Ester Intermediates

2-EH undergoes esterification with carboxylic acids to produce a class of higher-alcohol plasticizer esters. This use class has been established in the polymer industry for several decades and is one of the largest historical outlets for 2-ethylhexanol globally.

End-use categories: industrial PVC compounding, wire and cable jacketing, industrial sheet and film, non-consumer extrusion and calendering compounds.

• Acrylate & Methacrylate Monomer Feedstock
